Websites, automation and AI for Australian accounting firms.
For accounting firms and nobody else: a website that is written for you, automation for the work your team still does by hand, and two pieces of that work already built, trust account audit working papers and a review of offshore bookkeeping in Xero.
01 · Websites
A new website for your firm, written for you and live in 2 weeks.
Up to 8 pages. We write every word from a 45-minute call and your existing site, build it to be found locally, and move your domain across.
- We write the copy
- You read it and send one round of feedback. Nothing for you to draft.
- Built to be found locally
- Technical SEO, structured data, Google Business Profile setup and Search Console, all inside the build.
- You own it
- The domain and the code are yours.
- Care plan
- $120 a month for hosting, edits and Google Business Profile upkeep, with the first month free. Cancel anytime, with handover.
02 · Automation and AI
The work your firm still does by hand, done by code. The exceptions go to a person.
Every firm has work that runs the same way each time and still takes someone hours. We start with how that work is done now and cut the steps that should not be there, then build the rest. AI reads documents where reading is the job; everything else is plain code, every figure keeps its source, and nothing is silently resolved.
- Documents and workpapers
- What arrived, what is missing, what period each document covers, and where it belongs.
- Client onboarding
- Engagement letters, ID checks, ATO and ASIC linkages, and the chase for what the client has not sent, tracked in one place.
- Supplier invoices
- Read, coded, matched to a job and posted, for your practice or the clients you keep books for. Exceptions go to a person.
- The monthly report
- The management report, debtors, WIP and lock-up a junior rebuilds by hand, produced on schedule from the source data.
03 · Trust account audits
About four hours of trust account checking, done unattended in about ten minutes.
The mechanical pass of a real estate agent trust account audit: twelve months of balance figures, each read twice and reconciled, and a receipt sample traced to the bank statement. You receive three CSVs of working papers per trust account. Your firm remains the auditor.
- Read twice
- Every balance figure is read by two methods that share nothing. Disagreement is flagged, never resolved.
- Bank statements
- Parsed by code. They never reach a model.
- A reproducible sample
- Run it again and the receipt sample comes out byte-identical, so it can be regenerated and defended.
- A review queue
- Only the rows a person needs to look at, and why.
04 · Vigil
Check every client's quarter in Xero, and open only the ones with something wrong.
Your offshore team does the books, and someone senior still reviews each client's quarter by hand before the BAS is lodged. Vigil connects to your firm's Xero, runs nine checks over every client's quarter, and shows only what they flagged.
- Blocking
- Bank reconciliation, suspense and clearing accounts, error accounts, GST codes. The quarter is not ready to lodge while any fail.
- Warnings
- BAS figures, recurring items, possible duplicates, account balances, PAYG and super. Each can be right, so a person decides.
- Read-only
- It edits nothing in Xero and lodges nothing.
- Rules, not a model
- Every flag is a fixed rule you can point to.
Where to start
Not sure which of these fits?
Email a line or two about your firm and what is taking the time, and the reply will say which of these, if any, would help. The free website review is the smallest first step: it costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
